About me
I'm a physician working in Canadian health tech with an interest in applying AI systems to healthcare workflows. I completed my MD at McMaster University and subsequently trained in family medicine and have worked on several healthcare AI projects, including Deep Diagnostics in the previous ~2016 deep learning era.
I have a strong view that AI agents will substantially improve clinician efficiency and that there's an enormous opportunity to essentially solve the healthcare crisis in Canada using multimodal LLM's that augment clinical and administrative workflows.
